Attended Myers Road Bush care and helped Jack and John pave a path

Today we did a shared bushcare with women’s! Was so fun to mix it up and meet people from women’s while helping Jack out :))

I helped organise together this week’s social netball game, arranging players, washing bibs and organising with UQ sports. I also participated in the game, and had lots of fun playing with other King’s College members, encouraging social wellbeing across the community.

Tonight I played a game of social netball against other UQ students.

We helped with the learn to row sessions for a couple of hours

I gave out notices to the neighbouring houses and shops of kings about the up coming house warming at kings

I cleaned up the quad after the quad session. Picking up random costumes, cans and then taking the bins away.

I helped clean up after the GM in the dinning hall. I picked up all the cans mopped up spillages and packed away chairs

I attended the rotary meeting to help order and manage equipment being shipped to Papa New Guinea and organised trucks for such equipment to be picked up

We have just concluded Preseason for MRP (Modified Rugby Program) where I teach children and young adults with cognitive and non-cognitive disabilities how to play a modified version of rugby. Making them feel like they have a community and are able to compete in healthy competition.

I spent around 10-15 hours co-coordinating and planning SHE as well as making detail plans so we had a smooth running SHE week.
