This morning from 7:30am - 9:30am, 17/9, I attended Bush care where we were split up into group. In my group was Alice, Eliza and myself. We were tasked with watering all the plants. Jack showed us the different plants in the area and different parts of the bush and what needed water. I actually had heaps of fun and it was good to give back! Thankyou Jack :)

I participated in bushcare this morning! We learnt a bit about the different plants and the habitat of them. Additionally, myself Eva and Alice spent the morning watering plants using a hose and watering cans for the really far plants that the hose could not reach.

3/8/25 Assisted with King’s Tours, Open Day (12–2pm)

Helped sort through medical equipment to send to third world countries who have limited access to these resources that Australia just throw away or put into landfill

I volunteered at the charity Someone Who Cares helping pack medical kits to send over to Islands with inadequate medical resources

7/5/25 This morning, our flat joined Jack for Bushcare, where we worked on clearing weeds and tidying the bushland.

I did bush care at kings and planted plants around the campus

I volunteered to raise money for the 50/50 Foundation for Hearts in Rugby as it is a meaningful way to support professional rugby communities and families whilst raising awareness.

Cleaned up part of quad after quad sesh

On my way to Kings College this morning to present Greenbrand.org to the Deputy CEOs of UQ Colleges. I spoke with a groundskeeper who said they’d welcome more student involvement at UQ. The UQ lakes now have 7 Pelicans!
